Over the years, KQWF has worked to strengthen community support systems, promote awareness of LGBTQIA+ rights, improve access to healthcare and legal assistance, encourage young people to participate in social change, and create spaces where individuals can seek guidance without fear of judgement. Its work also recognises that inclusion cannot be achieved by addressing identity alone; it requires confronting the social and institutional barriers that prevent people from participating equally in society.

Rooted in local realities but guided by a wider global vision of human rights, equality and social justice, KQWF believes that meaningful change must be shaped by the people most affected by inequality. The organisation values collaboration, community leadership, youth participation and partnerships across civil society, institutions and sectors.

Working with limited resources, KQWF has continued its efforts through community engagement, advocacy and direct support. Its journey reflects both the challenges faced by grassroots organisations and the determination of communities to build solutions for themselves.

KQWF envisions a world where inclusion goes beyond words and becomes part of everyday life — where access to healthcare, education, livelihood, justice and public participation is not determined by gender identity or sexual orientation. Through sustained local action and wider collaboration, the organisation aims to contribute to a future in which diversity is respected, rights are protected and no one is left behind.
